Welcome to Vanuatu Customs & Inland Revenue WEBSITE

DCIR Office on Lenakel now connected to the i-Gov network

This connection now means that the DCIR Officers on Lenakel can now have access to the ICT tools and services available through this Government network which includes:

  1. The Revenue Management System (RMS) used by the Inland Revenue division of DCIR to collect VAT and Rates and Taxes fees.
  2. The ASYCUDA (Automated SYstem for CUstoms DAta) used by the Customs division of DCIR to collect Customs duties and fees, as well for the Small Craft database to monitor yachts visiting and departing Vanuatu waters.
  3. The DCIR Intranet (and all other Government Intranet for that matter).
  4. The DCIR Shared File Drives to access all electronic documents.
  5. The Government’s VOIP (Voice over IP) system.
  6. The switch from the ISP (Internet Service Provider) operator to the i-Gov network will also mean faster Internet and Government Email access for the Lenakel Officers.

DCIR’s vision is that with the use of technology, we can improve our services to those who need it, at a cost effective manner. It will also mean an improved Government revenue collection and effective border control at Vanuatu’s southern islands.

DCIR would like to thank the Office of the Chief Government Information Officer (OGCIO) for its support, financially and technically, to ensure the success of this initiative.
